It's been half a year since I wrote here. Here's a rundown....kinda in celebration of it being a New Year.

-Finished internship with Chevron in Lafayette...accepted job offer to to work for Chevron as a petroleum engineer in Houston, TX.
-Currently living close to campus (so worth the extra cost), now looking for a place to live in Houston.
-Long semester worth of classes...finished with a 3.8 (A's in Well-logging, Production, Management, and Design I and a B in Reservoir Engineering)
-Performed with the Austin Wind Symphony for a few months. The Halloween concert went well but no longer performing because it wasn't what I expected. But good music to listen to.
-Went to the ATCE conference in Anaheim...participated with the UT Petrobowl team. We finished second out of 16 schools.
-My computer semi-crashed and I'm still in the process of fixing it
-As always, I went to plenty of UT football games and Tailgate parties.
-Met some cool people over the year and enjoyed hanging out with them.
-Spent Christmas in Midland (I now have a new truck - Toyota Tundra)
-Spent New Year's in Colorado...weather was too cold (-23 below 0 at one point), but it was something different.

Well, the 3rd year of my college life is over. My spring semester left me with a new age (21) and a gpa of 3.5625 for 16 hours...not too shabby. I'm starting work for the summer for Chevron in Lafayette working in the Gulf of Mexico. Here's to a good summer. I'll be back in Midland to see my brother Josh graduate Valedictorian of his class at the end of May.

Happy 21 to me....lots of stories...but not for here. School semester is almost over and I'm looking forward to work this summer in Lafayette for Chevron.

Whoo-hoo!

Wow...it's been longer than usual since my last update...

I always hate trying to remember whats already come and gone...what's fast approaching...and what experiences I've had.  So I guess I'll just name a few things:

Found an apartment, school's been all right, went to Sherman with Jean, Christina came into Ok State bball game, found some cool youtube videos, exams next week, been training for a 10k with Jenny, Spring Break should be sweet in two weeks, met Kristin, Chevron internship this summer in Lafayette, little brother probably coming to Texas, an "interesting show" with Jenny, APA party, department believed to almost blow-up, dinner and An Inconvenient Truth with some old friends, and still utter confusion and thought about what the future holds.

There are more things I'm sure...these were just some off the top of my head.
